Amy and George chose Winterton Beach for their engagement photography session. The beach a few miles north of the large seaside town of Great Yarmouth, is near where Amy grew up as a young girl. Winterton beach is a delightful place with a wide sandy beach and sand dunes with marram grass. There are some dark sheds near the car park that are ideal as a backdrop for some creative portraits. Below are some images of Amy and George’s photo session.

Amy and George chose 2 outfits for their engagement photo shoot. It is always a good idea to bring 2 or 3 outfits to a 2 hour engagement photo shoot so that you get more variety to your images. I have a heart shaped blackboard that I bring along to engagement photo shoots. It is always great fun for a couple to write chalk messages to each other or to send a message to their friends. On this occasion Amy and George chose the words ” We are getting married”.
Amy and George brought a picnic blanket to the photo shoot. A tractor on the beach and the beach huts were ideal backdrops.
It is amazing how quickly a 2 hour photo shoot passes. We had lot’s of fun. I was able to chat and find out more about Amy , George and the type of images they like. This valuable information will help me to create the types of images Amy and George will require on their wedding day.
Amy and George’s married a few weeks later at the Norwich Registry Office. It was a lovely small wedding with a reception at Hickling Barns.
