Wroxham is the capital of the Norfolk Broads. The village has several shops, pubs and restaurants.
Star Cottage is holiday accommodation in Wroxham. Below are some images of this lovely property on the River Bure that I recently photographed.

As you can see from the images above, Star Cottage is ideal holiday accommodation for up to four guests. Furthermore it has two bedrooms, a fitted kitchen / lounge diner, a bathroom and a back garden patio area opposite the Hotel Wroxham where you can sit and watch the wildlife and boats go by. There are TV’s in the lounge and main bedroom plus Wifi. The kitchen also has a high specification with stainless steel appliances. The lounge has comfortable leather furniture and a dining table. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
You can find out lots more about this holiday accommodation by visiting Star Cottage.
Wroxham and Surrounding Area
The Cottage is ideally situated near Broads Tours from where you can hire a day boat or take a guided boat trip. The guided boat trips are a relaxing way to enjoy a lovely summers day. Your guide will usually explain the origins of The Broads. You will also see lots of thatched cottages and other river properties as well as open views of The Broads.
I highly recommend taking a trip on the 9 mile Bure Valley Railway to the town of Aylsham that has a vibrant shopping centre with lots of independent shops. There is a footpath along the railway so if you are feeling energetic and like walking you could take a walk back to the cottage. Also in the summer months, The Broads Authority operates a Tourist Information Centre in the village where you can find out lots about the facilities in the area.
I also recommend visiting the nearby Barton Broad Clearwater 2000 Project.
