I will put you at ease during a fun, natural and relaxed photo session. Furthermore, I’ll also provide you with lots of ideas, uncomplicated poses, inspiration and locations. In the studio I will also use simple lighting setups. This helps to put you at ease and enables me to capture more images during your photo shoot.

Everyone has a story to tell and it often shows in a persons face. I want to capture that character and despite what most people think every person I meet has one or more special features that can be utilised to enhance an image. 

I also love meeting people from all walks of life. If you are in business, an actor, a politician, a musician or an artist I would relish the opportunity to take your portrait and tell your story in a blog post. If you simply want an image as a record and as a memory to look back on in the future I’d be delighted to capture your portrait. I photograph individuals, couples, siblings, groups, and friends.

3. Locations For Your Photo Shoot

Locations, Style and Technique

Your photo shoot can take place outdoors. This can be at home, at work, in a hotel setting, in a public garden or in any environment of your choice. Furthermore, Norfolk and North Suffolk are superb locations for outdoor portrait photography with beautiful beaches, woodland and other varied habitats.

I can recommend suitable locations to you. You often don’t need to travel very far to find an excellent backdrop.     

Appropriate clothing is the key to achieving excellent portraits. Vintage is quite a popular style. For the best effects it is better to choose clothing in keeping with your surroundings or in complete contrast.

Top Tips: Change your clothes every 10 – 15 minutes. This will result in a much better variety of images from your photo shoot. Choose a bright overcast day for your photo shoot. For an outdoor shoot April to October is best to capture spring through to autumn backdrops. 

Studio 

If you prefer an indoor photo shoot and get photos like the one below, I can provide this from a studio near Norwich. It is easily accessible off the Broadland Northway and is available for 7 days of the week. Furthermore parking is free and there is a private changing room.

Portrait Photographer – Price

Portrait photo shoots are priced at £40 + £80 per hour (pro rata) with a minimum charge of £120 . You can expect to receive around 40 digital images per hour. Your portrait photo shoot can take place anywhere within a 30 mile radius of Norwich.

My price includes taking your portraits and the post editing / processing of your images to a professional standard. Furthermore, your photos are delivered to you securely online in high resolution suitable for printing. They are provided in low resolution for computer, tablet, smartphone and social media use. You can of course share your password and show your portraits to your family and friends.

If the weather is forecast to be bad for an outdoor shoot I will be content, subject to your agreement, to defer your photo shoot to another date suitable for you.
