Norfolk Mead Hotel – Coltishall

The Norfolk Mead Hotel in Coltishall, is a lovely charming building set in over an acre of grounds that extends down to the River Bure.  It is furthermore an ideal for weddings and special occasions.

Anna and James the owners have a fantastic reputation for catering. Dining here is also a special experience.

The Garden Room located within the walled garden is a separate building and is ideal for weddings and special occasion events. The room with a glass frontage can accommodate up to 120 seated guests and up to 250 people for a party. The building also contains its own private bar and toilet facilities. Furthermore the premises is a licensed wedding venue and so it can hold civil ceremonies. In addition the Garden Room is a great building for a wedding ceremony as it can be partitioned and converted for this specific use.

If you like boating the venue hires out its own day boat. From Coltishall you can meander along the winding River Bure to the charming village of Belaugh. Here you can stop at the Staithe and visit the Church. In addition, move downstream onto Wroxham (the capital of the Broads) with its beautiful thatched holiday chalets and cottages. Here you can visit Roys of Wroxham a popular local store and many other shops. Also within easy reach are the spacious Wroxham Broad, Salhouse Broad and the lovely village of Horning.
