Sidestrand on the North Norfolk coast is an ideal base for a holiday. Furthermore it has a lovely quiet beach and the bigger seaside towns of Cromer, famous for it’s crabs and popular Sheringham are nearby. I can highly recommend, Manor Barn for your holiday accommodation.

As you can see from the images above, Manor Barn is a modern contemporary barn conversion. It also has sea views and access to the beach is along a short private footpath. You can leave the property and virtually go straight onto the beach in your swimwear.
The accommodation is spacious, with four bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, diner and several bath /shower rooms. It sleeps up to eight persons and is ideal for families. Furthermore, the living room has comfortable sofas, a coffee table, a TV and log burner, also visible from the dining area. The living room has French doors that open up onto a decked area with table and chairs. The kitchen is a large modern space. The bedrooms are also stunning, especially the master bedroom with it’s stunning sea view and large en suite bathroom.
The barn with it’s facilities and nearby beach location is ideal for a stylish family photo shoot.
You can find out lots more about this barn holiday accommodation and the facilities available by visiting Manor Barn.
Sidestrand and Surrounding Area
Twenty four miles from Norwich is Sidestrand, a small, quiet village, ideal for getting away from it all. Overstrand is within easy walking distance. It is about one mile away and has a village store, a public house called The White Horse and The Cliff Top Cafe. I love Overstrand. Every year I take a walk along the cliffs to neighbouring Cromer, have lunch at The Red Lion and return to the car park by the beach. Cromer Pier is well worth a visit. It has an end of the pier show that is always very entertaining. Also the beaches of Cromer, Overstrand and Sidestrand have golden sands and are great locations for sunbathing.
The National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg Halls are within easy driving distance. From Sidestrand you will pass through Roughton that I can highly recommend for its fish and chips. In historic Aylsham you can take the Bure Valley Railway to Wroxham (the capital of The Broads). North Walsham, another market town is a great location for shopping.
