Hemblington Church Wedding Photographer | Tom & Stacey’s Wedding

Do you need a Hemblington Church wedding photographer? The village is about 8 miles east of Norwich and 2 miles west of the Broadland town of Acle. In August 2017 I photographed Tom and Stacey’s wedding at the village house of prayer.

Tom and Stacey were a lovely couple to work with. At their initial wedding photography consultation we found out that Tom was working at one of my previous employers and that I had also worked with his granddad in the 1980’s.

We met again at How Hill one evening for their romantic engagement photo shoot. This was a lovely sunny evening with the most beautiful of lighting conditions. At the end of the photo session Tom and Stacey invited me to have a meal at their wedding reception. I always appreciate it when couples do this as it means that after a lot of preparation and a long days work I do not need to arrange food and drinks during the wedding day. I can concentrate solely on getting as many images as I can.

The Wedding Day

On the wedding day I arrived at the church long before my start time as I wanted to get to some photos of the church before any guests arrived. Tom and his best man also arrived early and I photographed them meeting the guests. Stacey arrived traditionally late looking beautiful in her long white dress.

I photographed the ceremony and the guests at the church. The reception was held at the Heathlands Social Club. Nearby Tom and Stacey had some friends who had the most beautiful of gardens. We stopped as planned for an informal 20 minute photo shoot in the gardens. If you want to get some really super photos of you on your wedding day I highly recommend doing something similar.

Afterwards I photographed the reception, speeches and the cutting of the cake. The reception meal was fantastic and very different. It was a variety of Indian curries followed by ice cream.

I had a really nice day and wish Tom and Stacey a long and happy marriage. A week later Tom and Stacey received their wedding photographs. They were delighted.

Tom and Stacey said ” We are over the moon with both our wedding photographs and the photos taken at our complimentary engagement shoot. David made us both feel so relaxed and at ease. On the day he took a mixture of both traditional and natural shots – We can’t wait to share them with friends and family they really are beautiful and capture all the emotions of the day from start to finish. Thank you so much David – you’re a gentleman and your work is excellent”.
